Muriel Lake Basin Management Society (MLBMS) has created a PowerPoint presentation to give to a group of local MLA’s, county officials, Oil Companies, First Nations, cattlemen’s associations, and other interested stakeholders. The presentation highlights Muriel Lake’s plight throughout the years and it is hopeful that we will impress on them the urgency in finding out why the water level is still declining. Unfortunately, while it was expected that a meeting would take place in the Town of Bonnyville before Christmas 2011, this meeting has been delayed and the MLBMS has been notified that local MLA’s will not look at the PowerPoint presentation. We are hopeful to still share this presentation with interested people in the area.
