There is no doubt that water is seeping from Muriel Lake into the acquifer. Pumping from the acquifer will no doubt increase the hydraulic head and therefore the seepage rate. I still wonder what the effect of all that seismic drilling and blasting, that occurred in the early 1980s, has on the water loss from Muriel. Brent Welsh told me it would be negligible but I am very dubious. Mel Movold
