Active Water Licenses/Approvals at Muriel Lake? Search online!

Did you know that Alberta Environment has an online search tool to see documents related to Alberta Environment approvals, licences, registrations and permits issued under the Water Act and Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act. Check it out –

When you search under water body source “Muriel Lake” and click to see active licenses/approvals the following 6 records pop up:

    Document 00255970-00-00 CROWN LAND/REGISTRATION/ASRD/GRL 34193 is held by Public Land Management, under the provisions of the Water Act. This registration is currently issued as of May. 29, 2009 and does not expire.

    Document 00256052-00-00 CROWN LAND/REGISTRATION/ASRD/GRL 39731 is held by Public Land Management, under the provisions of the Water Act. This registration is currently issued as of May. 29, 2009 and does not expire.

    Document 00256153-00-00 CROWN LAND/REGISTRATION/ASRD/GRP 787630 is held by Public Land Management, under the provisions of the Water Act. This registration is currently issued as of May. 29, 2009 and does not expire.

    Document 00259658-00-00 CROWN LAND/REGISTRATION/ASRD/GRL 36881 is held by Public Land Management, under the provisions of the Water Act. This registration is currently issued as of May. 29, 2009 and does not expire.

** It has come to my attention that some people are not able to access the website link above. When you click the link you should get a screen that says “authorization/approval viewer” scroll to the bottum of this screen and click “ok to proceed” from here a new page should open that is full of text and has search spaces. Enter “muriel lake” into the “water body source” search. This is how I found these 6 documents. If you are unable to view this site it may be your internet version, popup blocker, firewall settings…
